About Our Mission

We are a fair trade retailer that focuses on ethical, socially conscious, and eco conscious trade practices. As a Registered Nurse, I began doing medical missions in the sugar cane fields in the Dominican Republic. During Covid, many of these isolated villages, who were dependent on American missionaries, were struggling to obtain basic needs like healthcare, food, clothing, and other dire needs. It was out of this concern for their long term sustainability that I turned my focus from medical missions to ministries that strives to teach these men and women skills to provide a future, hope, and freedom through entrepreneurship. This shop is a vehicle for those skills and our partners who have similar missions .
